THISTY BUTLER | SPORTS BAR

Meet Dan Gobbo and Jeff Bourque - the owners of Thirsty Butler, A Sports Bar in Walkerville. Dan has been in the restaurant industry since 1981 when he opened up Peachy’s in Downtown Windsor then shortly after Bentleys Roadhouse and finally the Electric Fish.  Jeff met Dan during those days when he was a wine/cooler rep and they became instant friends.   

After Dan took some time away from the industry it was tough for him to stay away.  Dan and Jeff looked around for the perfect spot over a few years spans and decided Walkerville is the place to be and finally found the perfect spot for their adventure - Thus The Butler was born in June 2018. The original concept was to create a Jazz Lounge with weekly live entertainment and an extensive unique cocktail menu and became known for their charcuterie boards.  

After about 1.5 years they saw a need for a sports bar in the Walkerville area and over the past year have been re-branding!

The bar now features 7 big screens tv’s with a plan for 3 to 4 more in the near future. 

We now have a full hot kitchen, with a new menu that includes a large range of pub-style food to full entrée items!
